Peer Review Process

JINTACT applies a rigorous double-blind peer review process to ensure the quality, integrity, and academic contribution of each submitted manuscript.

1. Submission Screening

Upon submission, manuscripts are first screened by the Editor-in-Chief or Managing Editor to ensure alignment with the journal’s scope, formatting requirements, and ethical standards. Manuscripts that do not meet the minimum requirements will be returned to authors for revision or rejected outright.

2. Double-Blind Peer Review

Manuscripts that pass initial screening are forwarded to at least two reviewers who are experts in the relevant field. Both reviewers and authors remain anonymous throughout the review process.

3. Review Criteria

Reviewers evaluate submissions based on the following criteria:

• Relevance to the journal’s scope

• Originality and novelty of the research

• Theoretical and methodological rigor

• Clarity and coherence of the writing

• Validity and significance of the findings

• Proper use of citations and references

4. Decision and Revision

Based on reviewers’ reports, the editorial decision may fall into one of the following categories:

• Accept without revision

• Minor revisions required

• Major revisions required

• Reject

Authors will be given adequate time to revise their manuscripts. Revised submissions may undergo a second round of review.

5. Final Decision and Copyediting

The final decision is made by the Editor-in-Chief based on reviewers’ recommendations. Accepted articles undergo copyediting, layout formatting, and proofreading prior to publication.

6. Turnaround Time

The typical review process takes 4–8 weeks, depending on the availability of reviewers and the complexity of the submission.
