Publication Ethics and Malpractice Statement

JINTACT adheres to the highest standards of publication ethics and is committed to preventing publication malpractice. The journal follows the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) guidelines in all aspects of its editorial and review process.

1. Duties of Editors

  • Ensure fair, unbiased, and timely peer-review process.

  • Maintain confidentiality of submitted manuscripts.

  • Make publication decisions based solely on academic merit and relevance to the journal's scope.

  • Prevent conflicts of interest in editorial decisions.

  • Take appropriate action when ethical complaints are raised about a submitted or published paper.

2. Duties of Reviewers

  • Evaluate manuscripts objectively, fairly, and promptly.

  • Maintain confidentiality and avoid discussing content with others.

  • Alert editors to any suspected ethical issues (plagiarism, fabrication, etc.).

  • Declare any potential conflicts of interest.

3. Duties of Authors

  • Submit original work that has not been published elsewhere.

  • Avoid plagiarism, data fabrication, and manipulation.

  • Acknowledge sources appropriately and disclose any conflicts of interest.

  • Ensure ethical approval for research involving humans or animals.

  • Cooperate with editors in case revisions or corrections are needed.

4. Handling of Misconduct

JINTACT takes allegations of research and publication misconduct seriously. All cases will be investigated thoroughly and may result in retraction, correction, or rejection of the article.
