This study aims to describe efforts to enhance the independence of children with cerebral palsy through structured play activities at TK DWP Waru. Children with cerebral palsy often experience limitations in motoric aspects and movement coordination, which can affect their independent abilities in daily activities. Utilizing a descriptive qualitative approach, data were collected through observation, interviews with teachers and parents, and documentation of children's play activities. The research findings indicate that structured play activities—such as sensorimotor games, simple role-playing, and manipulative games—effectively promoted improvements in children's fine motor skills, cognitive abilities, and social skills. Strategies employed included adapting play equipment, providing intensive guidance, and offering consistent positive reinforcement. This study concludes that structured play activities serve as an effective means of supporting the independence of children with cerebral palsy in early childhood education settings, particularly in aspects of self-care, basic communication, and social engagement.
